Transforming Touch
You’re Not Broken.
Your Nervous System Has Just Been Carrying Too Much.
Trauma-Informed Somatic Therapy for people ready to change how life feels inside—not just manage it.
The Experience
You don’t arrive here because you need more insight.
You arrive because something in you is tired of holding it all together.
At some point, your body learned it wasn’t safe to fully relax.
That learning didn’t stay in the past.
It became the filter you experience life through.
It shows up as stress that lingers.
Fatigue that doesn’t fully lift.
Irritability that surprises you.
A nervous system that stays on alert even when nothing is wrong.
This isn’t a personal failure.
It’s trauma doing what it learned to do—protect you.
Transforming Touch® is a six-month immersion for people who are ready to change the place inside where life is being filtered.
This is not a short-term intervention.
Six months is the minimum amount of time I work with clients in this modality—because that’s what gives the nervous system a real chance to change.
Not just to feel better for a moment,
but to function differently in real life.
This is not a series of sessions you fit in between everything else.
It becomes a reliable place your body returns to, again and again.
The same practitioner.
A steady rhythm.
A way of being met that doesn’t change from week to week.
Over time, something shifts.
Not all at once—but clearly.
Your system slips back less.
Ease lasts longer.
Choice becomes available.
For many clients, this is the turning point—
where things stop falling apart under pressure
and start holding.
And when your nervous system changes,
the way you experience everything else changes with it.
“This has been the most necessary healthcare for me over the last year. I’m not sure I could do life right now without Cobi’s services.”
— Morgan Patterson
What Clients Notice
People often know this work is right for them before they can explain why.
The Approach
“We’ve worked together for 10+ months and are still going strong.”
How the Work Unfolds
This immersion isn’t about fixing something in you.
It’s about giving your nervous system a reliable place to reorganize itself.
Over six months, we work together in a steady rhythm.
Sessions are consistent, relational, and intentionally structured so your body doesn’t have to guess what’s coming.
Each session begins with a brief check-in.
Consent and pacing are always named.
You’re never asked to perform, explain, or push.
You’re met—again and again.
Some sessions feel subtle.
Others feel deeply settling.
Many clients notice the biggest changes between sessions—
in how they respond to stress, how quickly they recover, or how much less effort life requires.
This is not a linear process.
It’s a cumulative one.
Consistency isn’t a preference here.
It’s the mechanism of change.
Why Six Months?
Transforming Touch® is offered as a six-month minimum commitment.
Not because healing has a deadline—
but because nervous systems need time and consistency to change.
Six months allows safety to become familiar.
It gives patterns time to soften and reorganize.
It’s where the work stops feeling new and starts feeling integrated.
In my experience, six months is the turning point for clients who fit this work well.
Some nervous systems shift quickly.
Others take longer.
But every client who has stayed in this work for at least six months has experienced noticeable, tangible change—more ease, more choice, and less effort required to move through life.
After the initial six months, clients may choose to continue for ongoing support and maintenance.
Healing isn’t something you complete.
It’s something you learn to sustain.
The Method
Transforming Touch® is a trauma-informed somatic therapy developed specifically to support nervous systems shaped by developmental, relational, and chronic stress trauma.
This work happens beneath words and analysis.
It meets the part of you that learned how to survive before language was available.
Sessions follow a clear, 7-Point Framework focused on:
regulation before insight
consistency before intensity
relationship as the healing context
Physical touch may be used when appropriate and welcomed.
When it’s not, Transforming Intentional Touch® applies the same protocol without physical contact.
The healing doesn’t come from touch alone.
It comes from being met consistently, without demand.
Who This Is For
This immersion may be right for you if:
stress costs you more than it should
fatigue and irritability aren’t who you are—but they keep showing up
insight hasn’t translated into ease
you’re tired of managing yourself
you’re ready for consistent, relational support
This is not quick-fix work.
It’s work that holds when life applies pressure.
“Transforming Touch brings a peace and grounding to my body that I haven’t found elsewhere.”

Healing isn’t only about understanding what happened.
It’s about helping your body stop responding as if it’s still happening.Stress and trauma—especially when they’ve been present for a long time or early in life—don’t just live in memory. They live in the nervous system. That’s why you can know something is over, yet still feel tense, reactive, shut down, or on edge.
Somatic therapy works directly with the body and nervous system. It supports regulation and capacity so the insight you already have can finally land, integrate, and change how life actually feels day to day.
