The Almighty Female

THE ALMIGHTY FEMALE

Today is such an important day.

First I must ask you did you vote?
I truly hope so because every vote does count.

I sat down to write this newsletter in a coffeeshop this morning and asked the barista if she voted. She said no that it wasn't for her and that people already know who is going to win.

YIPES!!!

I know! I can feel the gasps of air coming from you as you read that last sentence. I am not usually politically involved and still have a lot to learn but I know how crucial this moment is, especially for women.

That being said, I have never been more proud to be a woman. There is a serious movement happening with the women in the US and the world over, where we are truly coming into our own and honing in on our amazing power.

If you are in NYC there are some amazing spaces that have opened up honoring women such as NEW WOMEN SPACE and  The Wing.

They are much needed.

In light of all the action today, I'm keeping this post short and sweet, so lets get to the harmonious holds of Jin Shin Jyutsu.

Whatever happens today, this self-help benefits everyone.
SEL (Safety Energy Lock) #13 which comes into this world representing  fertility and the ability to love your enemies. When we hold this area on our chest, we help to change our image growing our sense of compassion for ourselves and others.

You can do this hold while watching the elections tonight :)

I wish you all a safe evening and one I hope is filled with celebration tonight after electing our first lady president!
